Join us for a transformative morning of insightful discussions and valuable guidance at our upcoming parenting event titled "Faith-Full Parenting." Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 11th, from 09:30 to 13:00, as we gather at the Alton Maltings Centre. This event is designed to equip parents with the tools and knowledge they need to navigate the various stages of parenthood with faith and confidence.

Our lineup of seminars is tailored to address the diverse challenges and joys of parenting. From "Parenting Teens" to "The Early Years" and a "Special Needs Support Group," we've curated a range of topics that will resonate with parents at every stage of their journey. 

Biopics

Andy du Feu

  Andy serves as Principal of Moorlands College, where  his teaching specialism is youth work and cultural engagement.  He contributed a chapter to Youth Ministry Online, and his book, Looking Good Naked: Youth Work and the Body of Christ, was published in 2020. He pastored a church for 7 years before Moorlands, and has been a youth worker in urban, rural and international environments.

Andy and his wife, Nes, began their adoption journey in 2014 and took on three children who are now 4, 6 and 9. In his spare time, Andy is completing an MBA online, and runs regularly.

Emma Lawrence

As well as being married to Andrew, with two babies of her own (who are now 22 and 25), Emma is a Play Therapist working with adopted children.  Emma is passionate about the early years, knowing the significance of these years for the rest of a child’s life.  Having originally trained as an Infant Teacher, and after fostering a toddler to adoption, Emma retrained as a therapist to work with children and teenagers whose early years included trauma, abuse and neglect. 

Emma is passionate about supporting parents to lay strong foundations for their children in the crucial early years, according to our loving Heavenly Father’s incredible design.
